Apartment Hunting

So the hubby and I’ve finally found an apartment in Calgary but more on that in a minute.

First the daily eats…

Breakfast: 7 grain toast with pb and oj.(I know more of the same but we got lots accomplished today so food wasn’t very interesting).

July 006

Lunch was something quick, easy and not the most healthy. Chicken and taters (un-pictured) from the deli at the grocery store. The hubby and I had been out running errands and by the time we got to the grocery store to pick up a few things we were starving and we left with lunch. I swear you should never go into a grocery store on an empty stomach.

Some of our accomplishments today included a bank run, picking up some food for the kitty, picking up boxes from our movers, hitting up the grocery store, dropping things off at value village and finishing up the packing in the living room and dining room. Things are looking pretty good here so I’ll post some pictures of the accomplishments tomorrow.

In other news we found an apartment! YAY!

When we went to Calgary a couple of weeks ago we started our apartment hunt then but we didn’t have much luck so we’ve been looking online and we found one that we really like.

It’s much smaller then the one we have now but it looks to be in pretty good shape and it has all the features that we were looking for. We are also using this as an opportunity to clean out a lot of things that we don’t want anymore or aren’t using. I’m also looking forward to hitting up IKEA when we get there to find some interesting and creative storage ideas.

Here are a few pictures. Since they were taken off the website sorry if they’re small and not great shots.

I have a couple more pictures but these were the best ones so I just decided to post them. Overall, I think it looks pretty nice.

I’m off to cook a yummy looking pasta for dinner!

Your new place looks fab Katie! That looks like a lot of counter space for an apartment! Love all the S/S appliances too. :)
